Biography

Vi Truong is a Lecturer in the School of Computing and Information Systems at University of Melbourne and an Adjunct Lecturer at Charles Sturt University. Her interdisciplinary research explores the intersections of technology, education, ethics, and sustainability, with a particular focus on HCI, Digital Ethics, AI Governance, Educational Technology, and Graduate Employability. Collaborating with national and global partners, Vi advances research that fosters social integration, sustainability, inclusion, and equality. Her work critically examines the societal impacts of emerging technologies, particularly their influence on learning, work, governance, and the environment, with a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals and communities. As an education specialist and learning designer, she develops technology-enhanced learning environments and advocates for responsible technology practices in education.

Her current research interests/projects include:
